Netflix Confirms Season 2 of The Hunting Wives with Stars Returning

Netflix has officially green-lit The Hunting Wives for a second season, much to the delight of its fans. The renewal announcement confirms Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman will return to lead the cast, continuing the dark drama that gripped viewers this summer.

The show picks up where Season 1 left off in Maple Brook, Texas, delving deeper into the tension between Sophie, played by Brittany Snow, and Margo, portrayed by Malin Åkerman. Though their relationship begins Season 2 at odds, past secrets and new dangers will force them back together. The rest of the main cast, including Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier, are also set to reprise their roles.

The series gained strong streaming numbers after its July 2025 release. It spent several weeks in Netflix’s global Top 10 for English-language shows and reignited interest in May Cobb’s novel, which inspired the series.
