At the 2025 Emmy Awards Noah Wyle made more than a statement with his acting, he made one with his fashion too. Wearing a custom tuxedo by FIGS, the medical apparel company behind the scrubs in The Pitt, he brought comfort and purpose to the red carpet. It was FIGS’s first ever tuxedo design and also the first time a healthcare uniform company had dressed a celebrity for such an event.
The idea came up during the Gotham Awards, where someone asked Wyle if a tuxedo could ever be as comfy as the scrubs he wears on The Pitt. Inspired, he challenged FIGS to make it happen. The result was a sleek navy tuxedo with the brand’s own slogan “Awesome Human” subtly embroidered inside the collar.
Also at the ceremony Wyle was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and served as executive producer on The Pitt. It’s his first Emmy nomination in that category, and his most significant role since ER nearly three decades ago.
Wyle described the tux as comfortable, meaningful, and a nod to the real life heroes who wear scrubs day after day. It was a moment of style with substance, blending his performance achievement with tribute to medical workers.
