Atlanta Rapper T-Hood Shot Dead in Gwinnett County, Investigation Underway

Gwinnett County police are investigating the death of Atlanta rapper T-Hood, born Tevin Hood, as a possible case of self-defense following a shooting at a residence in unincorporated Snellville. The incident occurred on Friday evening around 7 p.m. at a home on Lee Road.

According to authorities, the initial investigation revealed a domestic disturbance involving a female at the residence. The female sustained injuries during the altercation. The shooter reportedly arrived at the scene after the argument had begun and attempted to separate himself from the situation. The shooting ensued, resulting in T-Hood’s death. The shooter remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, as is a witness to the incident.

T-Hood gained recognition in Atlanta’s music scene with tracks such as “Perculator,” “Big Booty,” and “Ready 2 Go.” His death has left fans and the local community in mourning. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
