Austin Butler recently opened up about his viral dancing moment at Bad Bunny’s concert in Puerto Rico. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor admitted that he had consumed an edible before the show, which contributed to his uninhibited stage presence.
Butler explained that he and his co-stars had lunch with Bad Bunny earlier in the day, where they discussed the show’s structure. Unaware of the setup, Butler was surprised to find himself on stage during the performance. He recounted, “Somebody gave me an edible right before the show, and I thought that was a good idea at the time.”
As the effects of the edible took hold, Butler found himself caught between two impulses: one urging him to remain inconspicuous and the other compelling him to dance to the music. He described his internal conflict, saying, “My body is kind of saying hide, but then the music is so good and it’s like in my bones at that point.”
Despite his initial hesitation, Butler ended up swaying his hips while crossing his arms, a move that has since become a memorable moment from the concert.
